Welcome to Cities Connect, where we discuss issues that matter. In this episode, Kimberly Carter, the Division Director of the Community Finance Division at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA), discusses some of the financial resources available to local governments. She provides information about DCA’s various community and economic development opportunities, including a wide range of product types, from infrastructure improvements to incentives for job creation.
In her role as Community Finance Division Director, Mrs. Carter oversees the administration of an array of community finance programs in such areas as federal grant programs, state grant programs, oversight of loan portfolios in multiple programmatic areas, credit underwriting, administration of multiple state tax credit programs and a variety of designations established by the Department.
We appreciate Mrs. Carter taking the time to speak with us, and we hope you enjoy her presentation.
