GMA’s Legislative Policy Council (LPC) is the focal point for the Association’s legislative policy effort under the Gold Dome. GMA’s Federal Policy Council is the focal point for the Association’s federal policy efforts. These two councils combine their efforts and input of GMA’s six standing Policy Committees with its district outreach effort.
The LPC is charged with annually reviewing feedback from the Spring Listening Sessions and preparing a proposed Legislative Platform for consideration by GMA’s six Policy Committees at the Annual Convention in Savannah.
The Federal Policy Council (FPC) is GMA’s federal legislative advocacy group. The primary purpose of the FPC is to maintain communications with the Georgia congressional delegation in support of GMA’s federal municipal policies.
