This bill seeks to expand the boundary in which campus police and security personnel who are regular employees of Technical College System of Georgia, can arrest for offenses committed upon any public or private property within a particular distance of such property. 

Campus police and other security personnel would have arrest powers within 500 yards as opposed to 500 feet of such property.
