This bill would prohibit a municipal government from adopting any policies that would prohibit, or limit, consumers' use (connection or reconnection) of any utility service based solely on the type or source of the energy or fuel, such as electricity, gas and liquefied petroleum. This prohibition would not apply to properties owned by the municipal government.
