bill text

This bill would allow any city to fine alarm companies when false alarms occur in a non-emergency situation and the alarm company is at fault but cannot provide evidence of completing the two-step verification process in current law (35-1-9). In cases where the alarm company can provide such process was followed, the city can require the customer to pay for the false alarm fines.
