HB 72, Referendum Requirement for Mayor/Council Compensation Increase

The bill provides that any increase to mayor or council member compensation in excess of twenty percent of the current compensation shall require approval by a referendum at the next municipal election.  This requirement only applies to cities with more than six members of the governing authority.
