This bill clarifies the process for relocation of human remains, including a process for application and review of the proposed relocation.  The bill allows the city to manage the application process on the local level, including provisions for the city to adopt a standard application, to hold a required public hearing, to collect a fee commensurate with the costs of administration, and to adopt other appropriate regulations at the local level.  The bill provides standards for the city to consider when reviewing the application.The bill also creates a process for city review and approval of family burial plots.  There are also provisions of the bill that allow relatives to gain access to cemeteries located on private land.
