This bill would separate the Universal Access Fund into two portions - the Local Exchange portion and the High-Speed Broadband Deployment portion to be administered by the Public Service Commission. This bill would require the PSC to make determinations on funding amounts for the High-Speed portion of the fund to unserved areas. 

The PSC may contract with the Dep. of Community Affairs (DCA) and the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) on administration of the fund, if applicable.
