COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign Toolkit

“It’s Worth a Shot” is GMA's comprehensive public information campaign around the COVID-19 vaccine. This campaign was built to contribute to Gov. Brian Kemp’s and the Georgia Department of Health’s goal to vaccinate as many Georgians as possible during spring and early summer 2021, reach 70%-80% vaccination rate and achieve herd immunity. The goal of this campaign is to provide all of Georgia’s cities—regardless of their size, location or communications resources—the tools to educate their residents on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Model Ordinance Requiring Face Coverings in Public Spaces

This model facial covering or mask ordinance is provided only for general informational purposes and to assist Georgia cities in increasing facial covering or mask usage within the city’s jurisdiction. This model ordinance has been developed to help cities that wish to hold adopt a mandate that people within the jurisdiction of the city wear facial coverings and masks, consistent with federal recommendations and with consideration to Governor Kemp’s Executive Order 08.15.20.01.
