COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign Toolkit

“It’s Worth a Shot” is GMA's comprehensive public information campaign around the COVID-19 vaccine. This campaign was built to contribute to Gov. Brian Kemp’s and the Georgia Department of Health’s goal to vaccinate as many Georgians as possible during spring and early summer 2021, reach 70%-80% vaccination rate and achieve herd immunity. The goal of this campaign is to provide all of Georgia’s cities—regardless of their size, location or communications resources—the tools to educate their residents on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Guidance for Georgia COVID-19 Pandemic Business Safety Act (SB 359)

GMA has put together a guide for the Georgia COVID-19 Pandemic Business Safety Act (SB 359). The Act was passed by the Georgia General Assembly during the waning weeks of the 2020 legislative session and became effective on August 7, 2020. It provides protection from COVID-19 claims and lawsuits to a wide range of entities, including local governments from state law claims related to the transmission of COVID-19.
