Benefits
The GMEBS Life and Health Insurance Fund offers competitive benefits that make it a better choice than standalone commercial health and life insurance.
Discounted medical and prescription drug costs
. We leverage the power of our group membership to reduce expensive medical and prescription drug costs.
Responsive customer service telephone line
. You’ll always get a person on the phone to answer your questions.
Claims filed by healthcare providers, not by your employees
. If you use our in-network healthcare providers, they’ll handle the claim work for you.
Online forms accessible with a click.
Accessible anytime, you can grab forms including life and health forms and notices, benefit booklets, and benefit summaries
on our website
.
High-quality Georgia-based in-network providers and choice of out-of-network providers.
You have access to the best doctors and healthcare facilities for all of your needs. You can review a list of these
providers here
. Depending on your plan, you still have a choice of out-of-network providers.
Additional discounts on vision.
We offer you savings on vision care and vision products for all of your eyecare and eyewear needs.
Proactive wellness service
. Our Workplace Health Promotion Program will encourage your employees to lead a healthy lifestyle—and help keep healthcare costs low.
Health promotion grant.
Our exclusive grant helps you conduct new or improve existing workplace health promotion and wellness programs.
A GMA-member owned and controlled fund
. You’re not an anonymous member of a giant insurance pool. Instead, feel peace of mind knowing that Georgia municipalities like you oversee the fund.
Plan Options and Costs
GMA offers you several plan options with varying deductibles to give you flexibility to both budget appropriately and meet your employees’ needs.
We customize costs based on your size and choice of plans and deductibles. To receive a custom quote, take the next step and contact us.
