The Community Heart & Soul Seed Grant Program provides start-up funding for resident-driven groups in small cities and towns looking to implement the Community Heart & Soul model.
Program Overview
- $10,000 grants to start Community Heart & Soul - See Getting Started with Community Heart & Soul: A Community Workbook
- Eligible Projects: Heart & Soul Coaching, Project Coordination, Project-Related Expenses
- Designed for small cities and towns (populations under 30,000)
- Grantees are invited to join network events with Heart & Soul towns across the country

Match
Grant funding requires a $10,000 cash match from the participating municipality or a partnering organization.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applications submitted by 11:59 pm ET on the last business day of each month will be considered in the following month. Apply as early as possible.
