The Drawdown Georgia Climate Solutions & Equity Grant is an exciting new grant opportunity that aims to support efforts that advance climate solutions and prioritize equity in Georgia.
A group of five Georgia-based foundations have come together to support this inaugural effort. It will fund at least four, two-year grants that are up to $100,000 per year for work to be conducted in 2023-2024.
Eligibility
The primary applicant must be a US-based non-profit organization with 501c(3) tax status OR must partner with a fiscal agent who has 501(c)3 status. Additionally, the primary applicant may choose to partner with up to two other organizations; these co-applicants can be other nonprofit organizations, local governments, or other groups.
Deadlines
- Letters of Introduction due August 31, 2022
- Finalists announced September 21, 2022
- Full proposals from finalists due October 26, 2022
- Grant awards announced December 5, 2022
