Direct Lease Program

GMA’s Direct Lease Program finances 100% of eligible essential equipment costs at attractive interest rates and flexible terms. Common purchases include police and fire vehicles, heavy equipment, computer servers and a host of other asset classes.

To initiate a relationship, a City would first execute a GMA Master Lease. Then all future purchases will be documented with a very simple Lease Supplement prepared by GMA staff.

  • Flexible payment terms from 2 to 13 years depending on the underlying equipment being financed.
  • No upfront fees, prepayment penalties or residual payments due at lease expiration. After the transaction is fully repaid, title to the equipment reverts back to the City.
  • Dedicated GMA staff tasked to work with the City from origination to close.

Am I Eligible?

We consider all leases on a case-by-case basis.

If you decide to participate in the Direct Lease program, you will adopt a Master Lease (one-time) and submit your two most recent financial audits (or Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports) to us for a credit review.

When you adopt the Master Lease, certain City officers are then authorized to execute supplemental leases for essential equipment—making future purchases much easier.
