Eligibility

• A minimum of twelve years as an elected municipal official in Georgia (an exception is made for elected municipal officials who were only able to serve two four-year terms due to term limits); or
• Twenty years as a city manager/administrator, city clerk or city attorney in Georgia; or
• A combined twenty years as an elected municipal official and city manager/administrator, city clerk or city attorney in Georgia.

Additional Criteria

• Made significant contributions to the quality of life within the city or cities they have served and/or are serving.
• Been a strong supporter of the Georgia Municipal Association.

Please Note

• All past presidents of GMA are members of the Municipal Government Hall of Fame and are automatically inducted.
• The nominee’s service does not have to be consecutive, nor does it have to all be with the same city.
