Registration fee per class is $150. 

Upon completion of the six classes, participants should: Understand how to use data to analyze local government workforce to address diversity, equity, and inclusion. Understand all relevant employment laws. Understand the importance of recruiting, onboarding, and professional development to attract and retain the right people for the right job. Understand how to compensate and provide benefits to your employees. Understand how to develop personnel policies; and Understand how to address employee performance and workplace culture.

Cities that are in GIRMA can apply for a Safety Grant to pay for half of the cost of the certificate program. Please go to LGRMS.COM for the application to apply.  Clerks can use these classes for continued education unit(CEUs) for their yearly certification requirements.

*Please note these classes do not provide training hours towards the Harold Holtz Elected Officials Training Program.
