Georgia Broadband Summit

The Georgia Broadband Summit is a statewide event bringing together community leaders, policymakers, internet service providers, and state and federal partners to tackle one of Georgia’s most critical challenges—bridging the digital divide. This annual gathering serves as a hub for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration, focused on expanding access to high-speed internet across every corner of the state.

Join Us for the 6th Annual Summit – September 30

Now in its sixth year, the Broadband Summit returns on September 30 in Warner Robins with the theme: "Cities Cultivating Connectivity." This year’s summit will highlight the essential role cities play in shaping broadband infrastructure and fostering equitable digital access.

Attendees will explore innovative partnerships, funding opportunities, and implementation strategies that are helping communities close connectivity gaps and build stronger, smarter cities.

Program Highlights Include:

    • Update from Georgia Technology Authority: BEAD and Beyond
    • Finding Solutions to Deployment and Implementation Challenges
    • Creating Digital Opportunities for All
    • Connectivity for Public Safety – Next Generation 911
    • Update from the Georgia Geospatial Information Office on Georgia's Imagery Program

This year’s Summit will also feature insights from city and county officials who have successfully navigated broadband partnerships and funding processes. Experts from the Georgia Technology Authority and ISPs will be on hand to share tools and best practices.

With the Georgia Technology Authority expected to open competitive broadband grant applications this fall, the Summit is an invaluable opportunity for municipal leaders to prepare, partner, and compete for these historic investments in digital infrastructure.

Whether you're a city official, nonprofit advocate, or engaged resident, the Broadband Summit is your gateway to creating a more connected Georgia.
