What does my registration include?
Attendee (Full Conference)
Six policy meetings, the awards luncheon, networking reception, the Capitol Connection Breakfast and Cities United Day at the Capitol.
Spouse/Guest
Networking reception, awards luncheon, Capitol Connection Breakfast and Cities United Day at the Capitol.
Monday Day Pass
Capitol Connection Breakfast and Cities United Day at the Capitol, with transportation to and from the Capitol after breakfast.
Training Institute Classes
Friday and Saturday training courses are not included in the conference fee and can be added on to the conference registration.
How do I add classes or change my registration?
If you registered for the Summit only and want to add Training Institute classes (if available), or you need to change your registration type:
- Find your confirmation email. If you can't locate it, search your inbox for the subject line Registration Confirmed – 2027 Cities United Summit.
- Click the link in that email to log back into your registration.
- Make your modifications and save.
Registering more than one person? Each individual must be registered separately to be guaranteed a seat in a class.
Badges
Where do I get my badge?
Print your badge at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park starting Thursday, January 21, 2027, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Use the self check-in stations near the GMA registration area on Level M4, North Tower, or any of the mobile registration rolling carts in the area.
What if I lose my badge?
You can print a replacement at the self check-in stations near the GMA Registration Desk at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, beginning Thursday, January 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
What is the QR code on my badge used for?
The QR code is used for internal scanning, either for training classes you attend or for Cities United Summit sessions where we want to capture attendance.
What is the cancellation and change policy?
All changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing to registration@gacities.com.
- Cancellations after December 16, 2026 are assessed a 20% administrative fee.
- Cancellations after December 30, 2026 are not eligible for a refund.
Adding to Your Registration
If you are registered for the Cities United Summit only and want to see if you can add classes, you can log back into your registration via your email confirmation and make modifications to add classes (if available). If you can’t find your email confirmation, you should be able to search via the subject line by typing in Registration Confirmed – 2027 Cities United Summit. Once you find that email you can click on the link to modify your registration.
Please note that each individual needs to be registered separately to ensure they are in the class.
Spouse/Guest Registration
The fee includes access to the candidate’s forum, networking reception, awards luncheon, Capitol Connection Breakfast and Cities United Day at the Capitol.
Monday Day Pass
The day pass includes the Capitol Connection Breakfast and Cities United Day at the Capitol. Transportation will be provided to and from the Capitol following breakfast. This option is not available to those taking training and/or attending policy meetings and/or the awards luncheon. You do not need to purchase the Monday Day Pass if you have a full conference registration as this is included in the Full Conference Registration fee.
- Please sit with other members from your district at the Monday Capitol Connection Breakfast in the Grand Ballroom.
- Transportation will be available on Monday morning, January 25 to shuttle city officials between the Omni Atlanta at Centennial Park Hotel and Capitol from 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
