The GMEBS Life & Health Wellness Grant helps cities invest in the well-being of their workforce by supporting workplace wellness initiatives. Offered through the Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System (GMEBS), this annual program awards approximately $200,000 to participating employers enrolled in a GMEBS medical plan.

Grant-funded programs can include:

• Fitness and nutrition initiatives
• Mental health resources
• Wellness challenges and workshops
• Health screenings and education

By promoting healthier lifestyles and supporting employee wellness, cities can improve morale, reduce medical claims, and enhance productivity across departments.

Eligibility

Available to cities enrolled in at least one GMEBS Life and Health Insurance Fund medical plan.
