Healthy Homes Production Grant Program

The Healthy Homes Production Program (HHP) aims to reduce housing-related health and safety hazards through a comprehensive approach. HHP focuses on protecting vulnerable populations such as children, older adults, and persons with disabilities by identifying and remediating hazards in low-income housing.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include:

    • State governments
    • County governments
    • City or township governments
    • Native American tribal governments
    • Nonprofits having 501(c)3 status iwth the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

Multiple organizations or multiple units of local government may apply as a consortium, provided an eligible entity is the principal (lead) applicant responsible for ensuring compliance with NOFO requirements, and each entity must meet the Resolution of Civil Rights Matters threshold requirement.

Match Requirement

This Program does not require cost sharing or matching but does require leverage, as described in the Notice of Funding Opportunity.
