Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center State Competition

The purpose of the NIST MEP Program is to provide support and facilitate cooperation between private sector industry partners, government agencies, academic institutions including community colleges and trade schools, economic development organizations, and other manufacturing ecosystem stakeholders for advanced manufacturing technologies demonstration, deployment, and adoption, with a focus on supporting small and medium-sized manufacturers.

Eligibility

Eligibility for the program listed in this NOFO is open to:

    • a United States-based non-profit based institution
    • an institution of higher education
    • a State, United States territory, local, or tribal government
    • or a consortium thereof

Match Requirement

The NIST MEP program requires non-Federal cost share of at least 50 percent of the total annual allowable project costs. The NIST MEP statute requires Centers to meet this minimum cost share requirement annually.
