To support the success of Georgia’s cities, the GMA offers a number of certificate programs designed to strengthen local leadership, build organizational capacity, and enhance service to residents. These programs blend practical training with strategic insight, helping municipal officials and staff meet today’s challenges and shape thriving communities.


Human Resources Administration Certificate Program

The Human Resources Administration Certificate (HRAC) Program offers five classes designed to equip city officials and appointed staff with the tools needed to effectively recruit, train, and retain talent to serve their communities.

Municipal Revenue Administration Certificate Program

The Municipal Revenue Administration Certificate (MRAC) program offers a series of training classes designed to educate municipal employees and officials on the various revenue sources available to cities, along with the relevant laws governing their administration and collection processes.

Customer Service Certificate Program

The Customer Service Certificate program is tailored to the needs of local government employees. These interactive sessions are designed to build critical skills in communication, emotional intelligence, and public service, enabling staff to serve internal and external customers confidently—even in high-pressure environments.
