Watkinsville Mayor Bob Smith has encouraged citizens to patronize local businesses. “We have to have our economy moving again,” he said at a recent City Council meeting, “because this is a very, very serious situation.”
Mayor Bob Smith encouraged Watkinsville residents to, “emerge from our homes and utilize smart, common-sense safe distance practices and resume our lives,” in a press release posted to social media Sunday.
